well after installing rsx seats the light came on for some reason even tho all the connections were plugged in and everything so i decided to do the diy to reset the srs. at the end where it would blink on and then off it would do that but then the light would just come bak on...am i doin this right?


well me and my friend did it and it worked nd everything saying it reset but when i turn the car bak on it doesnt go away....it still shows the light...

uh still need help....anyone plz lend me some help plz!

did your car come with the side air bags on the seats? If they did it has to do with harness on the passanger side. If not then your seatbelt harness wasn't hooked up correctly.

here the best way i found to get rid of the srs light. go get some black tape... pull the cluster apart cut a small piece of tape and cover where the light is inside of the cluster... boom light is out...

hahah but then when emissions and all that crapy legal stuff is checked on the car it will detect the srs. oh nd yes it comes with side airbags. so its nothing to do with the driver side? cause it worked when i put in the driver side 2 days ago and then when i pulled it out and then later put it bak in hooking things bak up...thats when i got the srs light. aite well its wierd too cause when my dad was in the passenger seat the "side airbag is off" light pops up whenever he leaned wierd. ill check it out again or put in my stock seats and see if it works.

loooool looks like you hooked up a paseenger sealbelt light switch to the srs light?

fixed the problem. it was b.c i had the civic seat in the driver side and the rsx seat in the passenger side nd the computer was being confused so i tossed in the civic seat in the passenger nd now the light is gone. thx for the help guys
