i've noticed alot of people selling their cars due to problems which is too bad. i guess 3-4 years is the lifespan for these cars. I am really wishing I picked up a used civic instead. 01+ = pos

you know my old 87 jetta had its share of problems, but tranny wasn't one of em. that auto lasted more than 10 years prolly on the same tranny fluid even cause i don't think anyone ever changed it. shifted like normal all the time.

all you've gotta do is take a die grinder with a cut off wheel on it, and lightly cut slits in the rivets, and then turn them out with a flat blade screwdriver. then you can adjust your tps to the correct setting which is 0.50v at idle.

TPS is throttle position sensor. on your throttle body is a sensor used to tell the ECM the throttle position.
