Anyone know if the shifter cable can be adjusted?
I don't have my helm manual with me right now, so I can't check.
I swapped out my 01 manual transmission with an 04 transmission about 6 months or so ago. Its been working fine, but I've noticed recently that I hear a clicking sound while the car is in neutral with the clutch out (dead stop).
If I move the shifter slightly it may go away (not always). I also notice that when I am in 1st or 2nd gear, and the car is moving like 5 mph (with the clutch in and engine idling) that I hear the same quiet rattling noise.
Anyone know if the shifter cable can be adjusted? I am going to check and see if everything is still fastened down cable wise tonight. It sounds like a synchro issue, but I don't think there is anything wrong with them internally.
