So I was driving home and when I tried to downshift my car wouldnt go into anyother gear except 1st without forcing the **** out of it....

what is wrong with it?

Could be any number of things. One of the shift cables, the Shifter itself, clutch not fulley dis-engaging, or something went awry in the tranny itself.

If you can shift it through all the gears fine with the engine off, it's the clutch.

Otherwise... maybe have honda look into it. 04 EX Coupe, right? Any warranty left?

Yea, 04 EX coupe. And its not the clutch because it still shifts like **** when the car is off and feels like the shifter has no direction and it grinds like **** when shifting w/ the car off....

Grinds? With the car off? Where does it grind? Inside the car or under the hood?

Sounds like a cable or linkage problem. Maybe the plastic part of the shifter itself broke. You have to remove the center console to look at it.

LOL OMFG..... I cant believe what it was.... I poped the hood and found that my SRI cone had fallen off and was interfering w/ the linkage and the grinding sound was the cone beings crushed everytime I would shift.... haha. Good thing it was nothing serious!
