HELP: 01' civic EX whinning noise ONLY on cold starts. 66K
hello. i have a 01 civic ex with 66,000mi and ive been hearing a whinning noise whenever i start the car for the first time in the morning or whenever its cold. it comes from the engine!
the motor is bone stock now! recent tranny and oil change.
i dont remember hearing this noise befor but i started realizing it after 60k miles. it goes away after the car is warm.
anyone know whats causing that noise? how to get rid of it? thanks!

Rep Power: 0 streetglower...nope, it just comes from the engine. only makes that noise when starting up when its cold. doesnt make it once the engine is warm
what the hell is it? is this noise normal. worn belt somewhere???? i dont know...but someone please help. i cant take it to the dealership cuz by the time i get there, the engine will be warmed up and it wont make the noise anymore. thanks....
