Revo SS (broken??)

I just got my Revo short shifter in the mail yesterday, and the plastic half circle on the bottom that holds the ball that the shifter sits on is comming apart. It seems to be about 3/4 of the way off, and when I move the shifter to the right that half circle plastic peice looks like it's going to fall off. Do I need to send it back?? Or, can it be fixed?

half circle plastic peice??? dont explain stuff like a woman on here.
I have a Revo. Parts of it MOVE its a direct replacement so it has linkage that moves on it. If you arent good at describing stuff take a pic. If you dont have a pic, steal one... ahem i mean borrow one from a site with a pic of it, and point out where the boo boo is and then we can do something about it, chances are its not borken, that shifter is really damn sturdy
