engine noise

I am having problems with my car and I need help.

I have an engine noise that sounds like it is coming from the top of the engine
and code P1259 which is a VTEC system malflunction. So far I have had my valves adjusted and have switch out my VTEC Solenoid but it hasn't fixed the problem. I don't know if it bad fuel or it is caused by the tornado fuel saver that I installed. Could it be caused by a clogged fuel filter or the fuel regulator or the pump.

Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

well the tornado might have broken and the engine sucked in some pieces. why would you do that to your car. anyway, it could be other things but usually vtec malfunction is caused by clogged oil passages, vtec solenoid, and in rare cases the ecu messing up. Remember the vtec relies on many factors including throttle position, rpm, oil pressure, temperature, and sensor voltage. So it could be some faulty throttle body sensor or something bad in the engine, or varying cylinder compression. do a compression test and then run some lubecontrol.com products to clear up the injectors and oil. but it seems like a bigger problem somewhere.

Yeah, oil pressure is what the VTEC system uses to engage, check your oil and oil filter.
