i just took my car into the dealer to fix the drivers seat being loose. i took it in once before and they didnt pay much attention to me telling them this seemed to be a problem with other 2001 civics. i told them i thought there was a service bulletin. they said i just needed new tracks, which they ordered and installed. it took care of the problem for about a 6 weeks and then it was back. this time i found this service bulletin and printed it out. i presented it to them when i took it in. when i picked the car up they told me they replaced the bushings and fixed it according to the bulletin. they were very nice and said if that didnt fix it to bring it back in. here is the link to what i printed out and gave them.

yes its been posted before, but thanks for sharing your experience with dealing with it... it's helpful! I'm getting the 'bottom part of my seat' replaced later this week when the parts come in

i wish i had the time you do to insult every post that i dont agree with.

diznavis - you use these stupid images to insult people all over the site. You need to start posting relevant information and if you have none of that, don't post anything... the worst thing you can do is post stupid insulting graphics like "WELCOME TO LAST WEEK" - they are antiproductive and add to the large amount of crap flying around on these boards.

i post a lot of relevant information to this site. sure, i post these pictures sometimes, but i also answer peoples questions, etc
this thread was a bit of a break from the normal for me, i usually dont use the pictures unless the thread is already full of crap

got my seat fixed today! feels soooo much better, i hope it stays as stable as it is today.
