Seats eat wires.

I don't know if this happens with all cars, but I know the seat mechinism somehow eats almost any wire i keep in the car, ie cell phone charger. some how the wire will get caught up going through the seat, and it takes a long time to get out, sometime's resulting in the destruction of one end. a little odd yes, but it happens to me all the time and is getting annoying.
