do your highbeams work? there was a recall about the headlight switch melting and causing this problem. If yours has not been replaced you should take it to a dealer to check out and fix for free.

BE CAREFUL and don't play around too much with that headlight switch for now........

if the case worsen, it might burn the wiring harness.....somewhere you can't tell.....

be sure to check the recall for your car....and make sure the switch is OK.....it's a bit hard though....

GL man..

to really find out what is going on, you need to pull a wiring diagram for the DRL circuit and start from there.

Now is this only happening on one side?

Ok, so one headlight doesnt come on when you turn the headlights on, and the DRL dont work at all, correct? And the parking lights work, but the small driving lights under the parking lights dont work? correct?

And what aftermarket headlights do you have?

Also I know you said your light originally burnt out in another thread, and I need to know if everything was working all correctly before you put in this new bulb?

I have some wiring for info for headlights and also certain Canada models that use DRL (not sure what year or body style) PM with E-Mail and I will send them to you. The circuits should be quite simple to trouble-shoot.

sounds to me like you have a bad wire, or you have a bad headlight wire harness(where the headlight housing hooks into the back of the housing and runs to the battery). Just take it to honda if still under warranty.

just buy a new wire harness. all plug and play and your lights will be brighter than stock You might have a defective combo switch thats causin the problem. There was a recall for that.

I merged your 2 threads together.

Well from when I helped you out last night, we pretty much eliminated the fact that your projecter harness was the problem. that why I had you unhook the projector harness from the factory harness and install and OEM bulb in the factory harness and see if it is still dim and you said yes.

Go to the store and buy a multimeter, thats really how you are going to figure out where the problem is coming from. You need to see what kind of voltage you are getting at the headlight. that will tell me what is going on in your headlight circuit.

And as gearbox said, it could be traced up to a bad combo switch.

the combo switch is basically the switch on your steering colum that controls your turn signals and the headlights (high and low beam).

But yes a mulitmeter would help out alot. it will tell you were to start looking for problems at.
