03 civic. 45k miles. my battery light just started flickering while i was driving. i checked all the belts and they are properly tight. what could it be ? plz advise. thanks

flickering? it either stays on (bad alternator), or flashes (bad battery). If its flickering, you might have a short somewhere in the gauge wiring. Have the charging system tested just to be sure.

i made sure all the connections were ok and checked belts. also i saw my guagecluster was shaking a bit so i took the bolts out to check and there was on bolt which was holding the cluster was fallen off. but the connetion was ok. and checked again. now the light is not even coming on. I will drive few miles and will be able to see if its still coming on ? can you tell what could have caused it ?

cool if it doesn't come back maybe you fixed it. Might just be a wire getting bent or something.
