How low should your gas pedal go down?

I was just wondering how low should your gas pedal go down when you press on it/drive. (2002 Honda Civic Coupe)

My gas pedal is kind of low (alittle lower than the brake)..... I have to press down alittle bit to go...... I was wondering if you allhave this situation/problem, or if it's normal.

How often do you get this checked/fixed?

I'm getting 4 new brake pads installed next month (preparing for the winter)

And if you haven't messed with your throttle body cable, the gas pedal should have a little bit of "give" in it between when you start pressing on it and when the engine responds.

PANMAN has a little shameless behaviour in the past
You Should Tighten Your Throttle Cable, It Will Give You A Better "sence" Of Throttle Responce. Make Sure It Is Tight Though Or You Will Be Going Through Traffic, And The Next Thing You Know, Your Gas Pedal Does Nothing
