Lowered Car - Now Cat Drags - Any suggestions?
Hey All
I just lowered my car finally after all this time, and now I have a problem.
I dropped the car 1.5 inches on Tien Springs with Tokicos, not a bad drop and handles like a dream.
My problem is now when I go over anything higher than a shot glass the cat on my exhaust drags over it. Something as simple as getting into my garage where the grade is less than most wheelchair ramps is a choir.
I took the car to a local shop and the guy looked at it sand said there is nothing he can do everything is perfect and its my fault cause I dropped the car, I think the old fart just didn't want to do any work.
Anyhow does anyone know of a way to fix this? the only solution I can see right now is to take my cat out, but I don't really want to do that.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

I thought so too, but not around here I guess. They said they can not move the straight pipe and the cat up any more, I said even if they have to build some sort of custom setup I would pay for it no problem but they said no.
Might need to look at skid plates, lol

wow just from s-techs, i had them before and never came close to the ground even now on a 2.25" drop i still barely scratch my mid pipes. sounds like you have a 3" drop, but just keep trying on a couple of other shops someone has to be willing to work on your car

Yeah I was only hoping to go down a little bit thats why I went with the S-Tech ones, but hell I am on the ground.
As for exhaust shops around here there arent many that can get me because I am so low and well the rest I just dont plain trust.

Awesome, I will get one of the shops to do this for me, hopefully it will pick it up a bit, then I only need to worry about my side skirts, lol.
Thanks everyone, I will let you know how I make out.
