it's pretty common to break/tear engine mounts ... happens on ep3s and rsxs as well

You could upgrade. I think Hasport makes some for the stock civic.

I think it depends on which mount you are replacing. The best thing to do would to call Hasport, they are the specialist in this and will tell you everything you need to know. Personally, I would stay away from the ebay ones, unless they have a good brand name to them, they are probably worse than OEM.

If you get inserts, buy a new stock mount anyway and put them in that.

I have ripped my front mount, and my tranny mount. Its normal. I now have polyurethane inserts, and they work awesome. The cars sort of shaky, but not bad. Keeps the wheels planted much nicer, too. No wheel hop at 10psi in first, lol.

No more turbo on my car either, haha.

The Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts will work with auto or manual. I have manual, but the tranny mount doesnt get touched. They give 2 mounts for the front, and 2 for the rear. Youll only be able to fit one in the rear, if you go through the trouble of grinding it down. A dremel works nicely. There is way too much width for both to fit in, AND get bolted back onto the mount frame thing on the car

Its worth it to get them all in though, IMO. I have 3 in, and they make a tremendous difference, lots of vibration though, but I like it and so do girls, hehe.
