clicking on the shifter??

clicking on the shifter??

so yea i have a 05 5sp coupe ex and well when i get into second gear...and reach about 30mph i feel a clicking or a ticking happening in my shift ****...so i was curious to what that could be? and it only happens at 30mph or greater in second gear

it's probably the clips.....holding the shifter cable to the shifter box...



it's number 16 on the picture.........also, consider checking number 8.....it might loosen up.....

02SILVEREX has a little shameless behaviour in the past
If I'm not mistaken, there is a TSB (technical service bulliten) on this. Do a search for TSB's. Someone was gracious enough to post all available (to him) TSB's for our Vic's. If it's an 05, isn't it still under warranty? Call your local dealer.

since u got 05...then don't bother taking out the center console...just bring it do dealer, lol
