Car won't start help...

Hey guys, took out my battery yesterday so I could take out my aem cai filter to clean. When placing back the battery I tried to turn the ignition and the car wouldn't start . Normally when you turn the key twice(II) you should be able to see the dash lights light up(e.g. abs, maint) but when I turn mine you get nothing other than the back lit odometer. I also hear 2 clicks coming from the right side of the car. This is extremely frustrating, I've checked all fuses and even checked the battery and all is good. My last resort is to tow the thing to the shop.

Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems like this before and can give me some advice.

thanks,

you sure you put the battery back in correctly? and put the right cables on the right sides?

Check to make sure the ground cables to the battery didnt come lose it might be the problem. If no power is going to the ignition itll make that clicking noise that you are hearing when you try to start it. If the ground for the battery is rusted you might want to try to clean it or just make a new one. I had to redo all my grounded and my made my own custom ground kit cause my ground got rusted. Just make sure you use some 10 guage wire minimum to do that. Hope this helps....

thanks for your input guys. Yeah, I installed the battery correctly and I'm sure the battery is grounded as well as I also have the hyper ground wires installed too. I've no choice but to bring the car to the shop, thanks again.
