When I turn my wheels to the left I hear a weird noise like something is breaking. And then when i straighten them back out, you hear it again. But it's not consistent. How do i check for something wrong? Not sure what I'd be looking for. plus its tough to focus on the sound when my car itself makes noise(exhaust and engine).

Sometimes if you put the front of the car up on jack stands and turn the wheels( you can do this by moving the tire) you can find out where the noise is coming from. Or, when your on the ground in park or neutral have someone inside turn the steering wheel while you listen outside by the wheel. Sounds like it might be the spring moving around..
^^ thanks, I'll try it out.
its your power steering is it makes noise if you move steering wheel to the right too. Does it? or only when you move it to the left? It could also be your wheels hitting the fenders if they are too big. I have 16s and they still hit when making wild turns.
naw it just strted out of the blue. Its not the wheels, i've had those for over 1 year. and no it doens't happen when you turn to the right.
I thought i heard it to when i hit the brakes, could it be those? If I was to look at that I'm not sure if I would know what's good looking or bad. Hmm.....
Mine makes a clicking noise around right corners only. I think mine is a bent axle or the axle is binding up. Check for warranty
I wish I knew what was causing the same thing in my car. It sounds like its coming from the middle. Everything looks fine, nothing looks busted. I dunno, it drives fine though, with a click around turns. Sort of embarrasing.
if something goes wrong and i crash, I'll have insurance fix things right? I guess I should drive safer now. Its making me paranoid.
