I have a 2002 civic dx and i cant stand the look center console.....i wanted to know if i the 03,04,05 center console would be able to swap right in...i like the cover for the cup holder and the new styling of the armrest....ive tried searching about it and all ive found is people complaining about the armrest getting in the way....but i dont care bout that....i hate the look of my plain open dx center console....in the pictures and diagrams ive seen, it looks pretty much the same, however i was wondering if anyone would have a more definate answer....also if there's anything internally different of the new console like the ebrake placement,etc. thanks

nope, tried... doesn't fit correctly.
the ebrake and the shifter area is off by a bit, and also if you are getting a 04+ console, the mounting points on it is different. also the point where the console meets the center dash would be different from year to year.
but if you want to do some "custom" work on it then it would probably fit, but its gonna take about the same amount of work to fit a rsx center console (which i have one for sale ) in your car.

lx has the cup covers as well.... just ummm... so ya know..
