No more beeping sound

When you open your car door its suppose to beep and such.

For awhile Id open it and get a half beep.

Now I get no beep at all.

I dont really care but why is it doing that. Id life my car to be perfect and beep normally and not have a re-cursor to an electrical problem.

Wow, you may have inadvertently done the DIY many people on here are searching for, LOL. Have you checked your door sensors (the ones that pop out when your door is opened)? Do the interior lights still come on when you open the door?

Check your fuses, then the door sensors...if your warranty is still valid then take er to Honda.

There's a nipple close to where the door latch is. It has to be pressed so it thinks the door is closed. Maybe it's damaged or the wires got messed up. There's a screw holding it on so check that. Otherwise the beep sound comes from the gauge cluster and can't be fixed without replacing it. I have a feeling it's the door sensor tho if the dome light doesn't come on either.

I think I remember car used to beep when the door was open. It doesnt do it anymore. Only with the headlights left on and no key in. Is our car supposed to beep when we first start it as well? Mine doesnt do that.

if the key is in position II it wont beep. If it is in I and driver side door is open, it will beep. I know this because I installed my own ebay alarm.
