plug under right headlight goes to nothing???

Like the title says. I was taking my grill off to paint it last night, and I noticed something. Under the passenger side headlight, there is a plug (male end). I was looking all around for what it plugs into, but it doesnt even reach more than an inch or two back and forth. It comes out of one of those black tape looking things, that have other wires in them. There is absolutely nothing at all that it can reach. I need to find my stupid USB cable, so I can u/l a pic of it. Has anybody else noticed this plug?? If so, do you have any idea what can be installed there??? I am very curious on this, I have no CEL coming on, and everything is driving perfectly fine. Thanks for any info on this.

Its probably the wireing connection for an OEM fog light assembly... alot of that stuff is pre-wired in to the wiering harness.
