Re: ODB II Codes

Had my 04 civic lx scanned with an OBDII scanner, and said no codes, but tried a newer model, and it pulled a 0511 code. replaced the Iacv and wasn't able to remove the code yet.. seems the car does operate better but still acts up a little.. is it because havent erased the code yet?? and what exactly does circuit malfunction mean???

Re: ODB II Codes

and in case you did not notice, this thread is for consulting, not for asking what to do about which code, so that is the reason i am not answering your question directly.
That was the reason i posted that link, so people would actually go there to see what actual solutions would be there.

Re: ODB II Codes

Yes it does make sense. 9 times out of 10 heater or response time codes are the heaters themselves which are in the sensors themselves. Like said, make a thread on it, this thread is for information, not fixes.
