haha, not good at all really...have someone give you a ride if you can. in my old car my power steering fluid had to be refilled every other day. when it ran out it was horrible to drive-- so don't take the chance if it can be avoided

well its not leaking i had to pull the resivor out of the way to put in my new lights and forgot to put it back in its place so when i got to the store my car make this weird noise and my steering is really harder to turn so i look around nothing so when i left i saw this puddle and i thought power steering fluid crap! then i drove 4 miles to get some, put the bottle back in the slot that holds it filled it up started the car and turned the wheel slowly until i got lock to lock now its fine i checked again no leaks from anything but is the 4 miles of driving really bad for it? i'm still getting it looked at just to be sure

^^what he said. i don't think that little episode did anything detrimental to your power steering, and you should be alright . haha, it does suck trying to turn when there is no power steering fluid!

The reservoir is right by the alt pulley....I accidentally cut the tubing when I installed my first aftermarket headlights cause I forgot to put it back in its bracket....the tube leaned against the alt pulley, which cut through it, and I lost fluid.

There's a min/max fill line on the reservoir, and you can fill right from the top.

you should bleed the system as you probably now have lots of air in the system from running it with out fluid. The air will affect performance (heat build up, momentary loss of steering) and can sometimes cause the power steering to be really noisey.
