SRS light is on

I have 2001 Honda Civic EX. All of the sudden my SRS light came on. Is there a way I can turn it off? I went to the shop and they checked air bags and everything check out ok. They just don't know how to turn the light off.

thanks,
webtekie

Yes there is DIY...

Or you can do like me and just put the steering wheel low enough so you never ever see it, but my airbags are all messed up so I cannot really reset.

just use a small paper clip to stick into the plug, it works the same so you wont have to buy a special connector. it worked for me.

This certainly works. The linked article suggests using a piece of speaker wire, hooking one end into the plug and shorting the leads at the other end. This, in my opinion, is brilliant. No bending over and contorting yourself to stick a paper clip into the plug.

I got it on the first try, gentlemen.
