Heat shield

Will it cause problems if I reattach my heat shield with bolts that are 1/2 inch longer than the originals? They seem to penetrate fully into the block (?), but I don't want to run the motor if it will become an issue.

where are the original bolts? you could leave the heat shield off?

Who knows where the original bolts are. I want to keep the heat shield on for the time being.

go to the honda dealer and get the original bolts the are no more than $10 is better to get the original parts in those cases
