Fogged Headlights

I Recently put in projector headlights to my civic coupe and the left light alwayz fogs up. Is there any way i can get rid of the condensation inside the light without taking out the light?, because i have to take off the front bumper to take em' out again.

bumper isnt too hard to take off... take 'em off and let them naturally dry out in a low humidity area.. then silicone the hell outta the edges, then reinstall 'em.. jes my 2¢..

Well if you dont want to take out the lights or take off the bumper, just put some silicone on the top part of the headlight and see if that does the trick, but if not, it only takes like 5 min to remove the bumper, then add silicone to the bottom, 5 min to reinstall, and boom, your done.

Also check to see if you have the back of the lights sealed properly. I am talking about each hole where the light bulbs go in. That is usually a main source of why moisture gets in the headlights.

Remove the bumper, take off any sealant you had on there, then reopen the headlight. Wipe off any condensation - it WILL get moldy or even worse, start rotting your headlight housing. Then put the two halves back together, put back in the oven for 2 minutes to soften the stock sealant. Then use spring clamps to press the halves of the headlight together - this will minimize any gaps or leaks. Let this set for 15 minutes, then run a thin bead of Permatex Gasket Maker (the grey stuff) around the whole assembly. Once dry, reinstall.

Using this method, I'm still leak-free, even after direct hits with my pressure washer.

there is no point to doing all that. just park your car in the sun, open the hood, remove the weather sealers on the back of the headlights, take out the bulbs, and let it sit in the sun for about an hour. The moisture will go away. Then put some sealent on the top part of the headlight, let it dry, and then let it sit overnight, and if that still doesnt do it, then remove the bumper and put some on the bottom. There is no need to open up the headlights and reseal them. Just add more to it.

I used to do that with headlights of other peoples' cars. But some guys would fog no matter how much sealant I re-added (ie furball). Since I started doing this method, no problems at all.

I think mine fogs up because those stupid ebay stores sold me the angel eye headlights for a sedan, rather than a coupe... so the lightbulb sockets in the back of the headlight are so wide and loose that I had to use electrical tape to keep the bulbs in.

I think that's where the moisture is entering my light. Anyone have a simple and practical solution for that problem... other than getting sedan light sockets?
