shouldn't. Those parts don't interfere with the transmission. Suspension components will. One thing to remember is that if you haven't done ALL of your "reccomended" services at Honda dealerships or have all of the records the goodwill thing is often thrown out the window. I just paid $1500 to have my tranny rebuilt, 12/12 warranty and Honda wanted to give me a $1400 used tranny with a 90 day waranty.
and yeah, mines an 01 lx, but it's a 5spd.
If you're still in hinesville take it to Southern Motors Honda on Abercorn in savannah. Civic2k2 works there in the parts department and he might be able to find you a good deal. Call Honda customer service first though 1-800-999-1009 and file a case. Basically they'll tell you to take it to honda and that's when you take it to southern motors. If you haven't done your transmission services change half your fluid before you go so it's not all dark and nasty.

Well I took the Vic to Honda on Monday after I stripped it down. The only things that were not stock on the Vic were the body kit, springs and exhuast. I took everything out and put all the stock stuff back in.
Anyways I found out today that eventhough my Vic is 3k miles over the warranty. They are going to replace it and pick up the tag. Now thats good stuff there. Thanks Honda.
