wierd noice when turning

wierd noice when turning

when i turn right at about 10-20MPH i hear a wierd noice kinda of squicks it's hard to describe. it only happens when i turn right. when i turn left its fine. also if i turn right at slower speed it's fine. just wondering if anyone has the same probelen or knows what it can be. thank

PS its on a 2001 civic lx 54k mile 17" rims

It could be something with the rims, or a power steering pump going out. Probably nothing to worry about.

Change your power steering fluid like this...get something to suck out the fluid from the resevoir...then pour in new fluid up to the fill line. Drive around for the day, then repeat for a couple more days...this should take enough of the old fluid out and condition the seals in the power steering system. If this does not solve the problem, get your suspension and power steering checked out...that sound is usually an early warning.

I was getting a noise out of my right side. I dealt with it for about a week or two and it started to get worse. Then it started to "klunk" sort of. Turned out to be my front right strut. Might want to get yours looked at

oh, it happen to me too, so is it the problem with the strut or the steeing pump, thx.
