Clutch making a noise

Not sure if this topic has been posted yet, but the clutch on my '02 civic makes a "squeaking" noise whenever I step on it. I've taken it back to Honda, where they apparently put some oil on the pivot which worked for about a month or so. Anyone know if this is a major issue with our car? if so..i could probably get something replaced since it is still under warranty..

thanks

Hey there Im with you on this one..I have the same problem..mine is an 02 and apparently there is a bulletin out about defective master cylinders..I have a bad tranny for shifting as well and my dealer wanted me to fix this before they looked at the tranny. I have the work order where they replaced the master cylinder but the squeak has gotten worse. I dont think its a pivot point, It actually sounds like a clutch throwout bearing. it would make sense with all the crappy shifts I get but so far honda is reluctant to do anything. I am going to keep fighting it and make sure you do the same. My buddy with a vic had a similar prob and after the 3rd time he lubed the "pivot point" he advised honda in writing that for each time he had to bring it in from there they would have to pay him for his time. I dont know exactly what his letter said but so far honda has his paid him in free oil changes, service and such because he has to keep bringing it back.
