I should get mine today hopefully. I'm expecting more air flow than K&N, so it'll prolly be louder too. It just has a better design and quality, plus extra media to filter the air more efficiently.

Oh yeah open top cone with a recessed cone inside gives more surface area, plus the pleats are deeper and more abundant. I'm hoping for saturday usps.

Does it worth to spend couple hundred bucks on it? and if it does, which brand is the best for my baby.
Thanks I appreciate.

10-20hp is complete bs. false advertising from the company
intakes cost from 100-300 depending on which type/model/brand. AEM, Injen, and K&N are known to be reliable and quality brands for intake systems. i dont know which brand is best, i guess ppl have their own opinion on certain parts. mostly on a 99 civic, i dont know much about that car.
if you live in an area with horrible weather conditions, consider a short ram intake. if its usually sunny and rains at times, cold air might be a optional choice.
short ram = sucks in warmer air compared to cold air (duh), safe in all weather conditions (dont need to worry about hydrolock/filter sucking in water when driving in puddles), cheaper than cold air, easier to install. price for short rams round up around $90-$180.
cold air = better choice for performance, not a good choice for rainy/bad weather locations, filter sits near by front bumper sucking in cold air unlike the short ram. harder installation than sri. price for cold airs are around $150-$300
