Unhappy plz help...

i have a 2001 EX vic and i have noticed that whenever I'm in reverse, my brakes kinda grind and moan (you can hear its in the back area) and the gear shift from D to R seem to be kinda grindy (they just sound that way, they dont actually have a grindy feel). perhaps some lube is in order!? i dunno...plz help

ALSO...my air conditioning vents are awfully loose and move way too easily (i think the previous owner used too much armor all and made them slippery)...any way i can fix this on my own??

also....how many gallons is the gas tank supposed to hold?? mine only holds about 10 gallons and i get about 300 mile per tank...is this normal ??

i need reassurance....plz help....

ok, for your brakes, if the noise is coming from the rear, check your brake shoes and drums. Maybe the shoes just need replacing or the drums might be warped and need replacing. Just need to take the drum off and inspect.

Next if your shifting gears from drive to reverse and it is kinda grindy, you need to change the tranny fluid. You need to have it flushed 3 times and fill it a 4th time.

With the air conditioner vents mine are like that, I am guessing it is normal.

now your gas tank should hold 13.2 gallons of gas. if you fill up before your car dies from being out of gas, or before the light comes on, it should only pump about 10-11 gallons. Usually when the light comes on, you still have about 3 gallons left. if you get 300 miles a tank, check your spark plugs, o2 sensors, etc... get a fuel cleaner. Hope this helps you.
