Check Engine Light
Check Engine Light
Ok guys i have about 8,700 miles on my 04' Civic Coupe.
And everything i start my car the check engine light now blinks like 10 times or so then goes away.
My friend who i grew up with always had a Honda between civics and accords, and i remember him mentioning that at 10,000 mile you need to do a tune up at Honda Dealership and it make the light totally stop blinking and/or in the future staying on as i get closer to 10,000 miles.
If anyone has any ideas if i am right or suggestion it might mean let me know
Thanks

This is what it is:
Your car is programmed to know when it needs its service. Like, the 10,000 mile service and what not. Its in your manual. When it approaches the service time, it blinks. Then, when you pass it, it stays on. Samething happened to my mom's 03' Accord. Just read your manual, its in there.
