Lightbulb Sticky stuff....

Hey there peeps, I was bored a couple of weeks ago and had my friend take off the rubber trims around my fenders. Car looks alot better without it. The only problem was that there is still some of that sticky stuff from it. I tried washing it with soap and water but I can still see it. I want to see if there is anything I could use to remove that stuff from my paint. Any suggestions???

Do you mean the mudflaps? Well anyway, Meguiar's clear coat body scrub will take just about anything off of paint without messing up the finish.

Theres a product out there called Speedy 500, its a solvent that wont harm paint. Soak a rag with some and hold it against the Goo. it should soften it up enough for you to rub off.

when the dealer removed the door guards from your cars during the PDI stuff, did any of you have good left on the edges of the door?

i had goo on my doors and i didnt have it completely cleaned off until this year. when i washed the goo off with regular soap, some clear coat came off with it. our cars have shiet clear coat. i can see a very faint line on my door where the door guard thingy used to be.
