help with a squeak noise from the engine?

I have a 2002 Civic EX and when i rev it up to about 5 or more RPM and release the gas pedal it makes a squeaky noise coming from the engine. I have 11K miles on it and have not had any other problems. I heard it might have to do with the belts slipping but, i dont know. Did anyone else have these problems with there civic or does anyone know how to fix this. It sounds like a Dog's squeak toy.

easy solution. Remove each belt and listen for the squeak. But do not run the engine for more than 1 min. Based on your description, most likely your right.

it's the bolt with spring between the exhaust header and the downpipe...

I have this problem for about a month now, I got an aftermarket Hi Flow Cat and the spring's loose that causes the sqeaking...

If that's not where the noise' coming from, then 99% sure the belt is the problem...

Ok, fixed it. It was a belt. The dumb one that's connected to the pulley. I got some Belt Dressing and sprayed that on. No more squeak.
