Excessive oil consumption on new 04
Excessive oil consumption on new 04
I switched to Amsoil 0-30-the recomended replacement for 5w-20 in my o4 EX. After a week its used almost a quart! Thers no leaks. Theres 1500 miles on the car. Cant possibly be that much blowby?
whos doing your oil changes
check the bottom of your oil pan, with the car off touch it and see if there is oil film/buildup caused by undertorquing the drain bolt. Are new crush washers being used, and look at the oil filter....is it leaking maybe because it wasnt properly tightened
could your car just be a lemon?? any chance?? cuz i got the 2004 civic ex coupe manual.. and i have no problem what so ever with getting good mileage on it haha.. it's great getting such good mileage when gas prices are this high
