nasty rattling from dash?

yo guys,

have some of u noticed rattling noises from the dashboard? is it common? is it fix-able?

i attached an image from ludlamtheory's post...

My car has so many rattles. The dash isn't easy to take apart, so you just have to live with them.

yay,

i think so...

just live with it...(hix hix hix)...oh well...

i think, it's only in winter...cos' probably it shrinks a lil' bit...and creates rattles

I had the worse rattle coming from the same area once... oddly enough though, it was from a loose bolt in the engine compartment causing a washer to rattle on the body. Eh

I've got that rattle. My car's fix: Turn the heat on so that it comes out the dash vents for a minute or two. Once it heats up it goes away.

hm, very interesting..

yeah, ur right...if i turn on the heater for a while, the rattles gone....i think....hm..

wait2, screws in the engine compartment? can u tell me which one?

i actually do have a plan to tighten all the screws that loose...

mmmm its so ****ing i hate it when i travel 2 other countries .. took the care 2 dealel but with no good execuse as usual!! as they told me its coz u replaced ur sterio with amodified 1 the sounds has appeared so it will not be done on warrenty .. i gues they dont know what is really the problem !!

but after using my finger tacking every single part of dash i fount that the plastic case which is along to the front glass from the inside connected 2 the dash is the 1 tacking on the glass .. my temp soloution is tthat i incerted a piece of thick paper between the cover & the glass .. wala .. no more sound !!!!
