I just called Honda today regarding that so called recall on our wiring harness cause the low beams keep burning out. They ran my vin # on a 2001 ex coupe. THERE ARE NO RECALLS ON MY CAR!!!!!!!!!
So what are people talking about? I've heard there is a recall on our struts too - WTF????

Rep Power: 0 If there is a specific recal on a 2001 Ex, it would be on all 2001 Civic Ex, not just certain ones. I've read on this site about the struts being recalled, was that on the LX, or DX?

Rep Power: 331 I called Honda Yesterday and they told me that they hadn't even recieved the parts in for the Recall. They were surprised that i had even recieved a notice. But I haven't recieved a notice about it. I'm going to try to get it fixed anyways, probably come back with nothing though. I told them i have to replace my headlight bulbs every 4-5 months. I was going to tell them i got a notice from honda Owners Link. Hope this works.
i called honda about the problem i had with the throttle being stuck open and gave them the recall number that a member posted for me...
they said it doesnt apply to my car.. that there was no recalls on mine either.... they're responce to me was have the car towed to the dealership and they would look at it... BUT if its modified they can not touch it.... friggen honda rrrrrrrrrrrrr

I JUST GOT MY CAR BACK FROM HONDA. I TURNED IT IN THIS MORNING TO FIX THE RECALL ON THE HEADLIGHT HARNESS. I RECIEVED NO NOTICE, TOOK IT IN ANWAYS. THEY ASKED NO QUESTIONS, THEY RECIEVED THE PARTS IN YESTERDAY, FIXED IT TODAY, NO CHARGE ALL UNDER "WARRANTY"/RECALL. LIGHTS WORK, THEY REPLACED BULBS TOO AND I'M HOME. NOW I JUST HOPE THAT THINGS RUN AS SMOOTH WITH THIS REPLACEMENT.I'M PRETTY HAPPY
