About a month ago I noticed that if I make a sharp 90 degree turn to the left or right, or when I make u-turns, something is thumping in the suspension or steering. As I make the turn really slow, all I here is thump, thump, thump, thump, thump. Anyone know what it might be? I went to a shop today and they inspected my cv joints and everything else and said everything looked fine. They said if it gets worse, bring it back. It kinda annoys me, so someone help.
could it be the planetary gear in the tranny? i dont know, try checking the TSB or whatever, a lot of people is complaining about this and people have gotten parts on the tranny (if thats the problem) fixed under warranty.
No, not a month ago. this has been going on for a while. It bothers me, but at the same time it doesnt cause I still get great handling. But when turning slow I hear that thumping.
Thumping noise when turning and making U-turns? Need help? Post #1 of 4

Anyways, could be a lot of things. Is it only when the steering wheel is at full lock? Could be wide tires rubbing, you need spring isolators, etc. What have you changed recently?

I had my konis installed about 2 weeks ago, but the noise was there even before I got the new ones installed.
