Unhappy Thinned out oil...Potential Problem?

Hello guys...I think i got a problem. Whenever I check my oil..and wipe it on a napkin..it smells of gasoline.. But a bigger problem is that the oil is loking more thinned out as well.. I dip the dipstick and the oil sorta glides on the edge....above it, it's jus clear i guess...it's looking more thinned out...the oil only has about 2000 miles on it too and it should be in good shape as well..My acceleration is slow..don't know if that has anything to do with it..but could this be a potential problem..? Should I get an early oil change with a 5-30 oil..have any of you guys experienced something like this...? please help. lease:

How do you know the oil is thinned out just by looking at it?

The oil is half invisible...doesn't cover the dipstick it's almost half invisible and extra thin, extra light color...

you're not checking your oil after the engine is warmed up are you?

It WILL get thinner as it warms up.

Man you've got problems. Just switch to synthetic and see what happens. My regular oil is fine, but I think you have some engine seals that are leaking.

I didn't want to edit because you guys should know that blackstone labs also does analysis on transmission oil and differential oil. my friend just got his sent, its worth it, they can tell if there is a problem.
