OK, u know where the tachometer and rpm meter is??? where i burned all he light behind it. So i had no dash lights - or whatever the specific name is for hat - well i took it apart, tok the console out with the meters and took it apart, when i looked at the back of it there were few burned "Cables" ( or whatever you would call it that is melted in to the plastic and conducts electricity ) so now i am trying to fix it. Where could i find the part number of the dash kit, or whatever you would call it, i hope that is english enough

umm...well i'll try.

firstly, your tachometer is your rpm meter. I'm sure you mean the tachometer/speedometer....or "guages" in other words.

secondly, i'm not sure what you did....it sounds to me like you melted some of the conductors in your dash motherboard maybe. I've never taken my dash apart though so i dont even know if there is a motherboard behind there. I assume you melted the motherboard because if you just melted the wires you could just cut and splice them right? So yeah, you'll need to order that part from your honda dealership....they'll likely have the best delivery time etc etc on it. I would highly doubt that you could fix it yourself.

but if you're getting indiglo, and if the indiglo comes with its own motherboard thingy...i guess just stick with that? lol i dont know...its hard to understand what you're saying, especially considering that i dont know the contents of the dash.

best bet...take it to the dealer...

step 1: put car keys into ignition

Step 2: Drive to Dealership

Step 3: Make them fix it

I do not want to go to the dealer, don't you think it would void the warranty?? I mean they would find out that i made a short circuit on somethig. butanyway now i have no need for that cause I FIXED IT and am so proud of myself Damn!!! I freaking fixed it!! Just took some insulate tape gently connected the wires that burned , damn am I good Sorry just I am s happy that finnaly after one month of total darkness I can enjoy my dash lights again. I would have fixed that shiz the day it happened. my brake lights went out on my old car and I spent an hour troubleshooting and I finally figured out that a wire connected to the pedal sensor had become cut. I just got a good ol wire nut and fixed it. that worked for a while until I had the entire sensor replaced. play with things long enough and you will either break them more or learn something new. that's my philosophy.
