Hey im new here and this isnt about a new honda and this could be the wrong place so just let me know, but anyways i have an 89 honda prelude and every time i get to 3k RPM my battery light comes on and the lghts in my car get really bright and i kepp blowing headlights ive had the altenator tested 3 times they say it is fine and someone at the parts store told me a lot of preludes and accords have this problem i was just hoping someone in here clould tell me what is wrong and what i have to do thanx for any help guys

Bad regulator. On modern alternators it's internal, on older ones, it's external. CHECK YOUR GROUND WIRES!!!!!
