If you do take corners hard, but you have the stock Firestone tires, I wouldn't worry about it. Those firestones grip like a stick of melted butter, and in my opinion, they don't grip well enough to induce enough torsional stress to ripple the roof.

If you take corners hard and you have good tires and carve the pavement up, you might want to keep an eye out for rippling.

I have the stock firestones and they were good for about 2 days after I got the vic. My sister was the first owner and the tires were pretty beat up. After *MY* driving, the tires are even worse and can't/WON'T grip in the rain. My dad says that he won't buy me new tires unless there is absolutely no tread, or until Honda says that its alright to change em (which will probably be never...).

Well, it's good to hear that your vic is sturdier now
