Mine just came on as well. Try resetting your ecu.
1. Disconnect negative plug on battery(black) for a few minutes.
2. Reconnect negative plug.
3. start car let run for about 10-15 minutes(do not apply gas while car is idling.)
4. Done(light should go away, but may return later. If so you may need to check it out at the dealer. I believe the check engine like is warranted for 3years or 60,000km or 3years 37500miles

good luck

My light went off, but the next day i drove it and it came back on. My car has 79,000km or 49375miles. Gonna go into honda tomorrow, they charge 1hour labour to check if your over the warranty. Will keep you updated.

why don't you read the little message on the gaas cap

But to save you time I'll tell ya what it says.

Ya know how the gas cap clicks when you screw it on??

Well on the cap it says if it doesn't click 5 or more times then the check engine light will come on. (i think its 5 but it could be 3 but better safe than sorry) just to be safe i click it oh around 20 times

that would do it ... the engine light usually comes on.. because of those o2 sensors under the car ... one behind the cat and one on the header.... thats why mine is on .. but i have no cat and an hp header so i know why mines on...

Yeah my CEL came on out of the blue one day... took it to autozone and used their code reader.. turns out one of my 02 sensors were bad, so I replaced them both. Now my cars been running great, not to mention my gas mileage improved about 50 miles per tank!!!
