Complete power and engine failure
Complete power and engine failure
Hello everyone,
I have a 2010 civic that is having an intermittent power failure accompanied by the engine stalling. It happens completely at random whether I’m driving, parked, or shifting into drive or reverse.
The battery terminals have been cleaned, the alternator has tested ok, and the battery was replaced. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms and found a solution? I couldn’t find any search results that had the engine and electrical cut out simultaneously.

Re: Complete power and engine failure
You’re definitely having some electrical problem. Your only options are to test the components and trace wires.
If it’s completely cutting power, could be an ECU problem.
