Want to be careful about buying alternator
I noticed when shopping for an alternator that some of them state they have an internal voltage regulator. Is this true if all alternators for a 2005 Honda Civic LX sedan, or should I just go ahead and order one that the dealer says is made for the car and don't worry about it. Also they state that it can run clockwise or counter clockwise.

don't buy aftermarket. buy OEM. aftermarket is well know for not working with honda because of the electronics inside it
