Hi

i have a honda civic type s 1.3 2009

I recently got some new black led mirror indicator lights to replace existing ones. After installing one I tested it and it didn't turn on. I tried the other side with the original and it also doesn't turn on. I checked the fuse and on the fuse diagram says number 15 exterior small lights, I think this is the correct one, but it seemed fine I also changed it anyway.

Can anyone think of a reason why both mirror indicator lights wouldn't work or any ideas how I can fix this.

it wasn't working before I even replaced it. I replaced it and still not working, also it is just a plug that i insert into the connecting psrt that comes out of the wing mirror. So I am unsure how much to recheck as I pushed it in really tight aswell.

any other thoughts?

check if wires at hinge are not broken/damaged - you open and close the drivers' door all the time, it damages the wires overtime

Turns out you were right the first time, just had to push it in super hard.
