Daughter has a 2010 civic. today it had to be jump started, then after a few minutes, it died and wont start again. sounds like alternator, will check with multimeter when it gets towed here.

About 2-3 months ago I had to replace the alternator in my 2008 Civic (185k miles). I got the basic model from AutoZone. I was impressed with the quality of the part and it's been working great so far. (I didn't go for any of the higher price points because I probably will only be keeping this car for another 3 years and didn't want to put that kind of investment into it.)
