MICU under dash fuse box Civic 2011 help?
Hi
My power door locks keep locking continuously at random intervals and I have tried replacing the actuator, inspected the wire harness, the door switches etc. Everything seems fine and upon researching a lot I found out that it could be a faulty MICU.
Now I know it needs reprogramming when you replace the under dash fuse box which contains the integrated MICU. I have few questions.
1. Do I need reprogramming if I just disconnect and reconnect the same fuse box after inspection?
2. How do I remove the fuse box from its mounting bracket for closer visual inspection?
3. Is it possible to just disintegrate the MICU (for replacement/repair) from the fuse box assembly?
If I have to replace the whole assembly it's costing me a fortune at the stealership so any ideas to cut down the costs will be much appreciated.
