Need Help!! Backup Fuse

Hey everyone...this may be a dumb question, but how do you remove the backup fuse? Does it involve removing the the two screws that seems to be holding it in place? or is that little box (labeled backup fuse) just a compartment holding the actual fuse. Is it removed by prying off the top? I tried removing the screws but ended up stripping one.

Any help would be appreciated. I ran into the common problem of my power door locks and HU not working after installing. Must've blown a fuse.

Re: Need Help!! Backup Fuse

yeah that is a loose fuse in case you need one and are on the side of the road or something and cant buy a new fuse. i dont even know how many are in there or what size. im not sure if the cover pops off or not tho, i dont think there are any screws involved. in mine, my backup fuses are just "plugged in" to a blank spot in the fuse box that doesnt connect to anything.

Re: Need Help!! Backup Fuse

Thanks gearbox for the quick response! Turns out I was an idiot and was looking at the schematics wrong. I found the actual backup fuse, replaced it with a spare and all is good!
