12v power outlet(cigarette lighter socket) How to make it constant 12v
Hello on my 07 Honda Civic EX I purchased a Eyetoo dual dash cam but every time I turn off the ignition my dash cam turns off too. Can someone help and guide me on how to make this 12v power outlet constant? There are some places where I park my car and I wana be able to have my dash cam on even when the car is off without draining my battery.. thanks in advance..

not possible, anything connected to the port will drain the battery.
dashcams have batteries inside if you bought one that will wake up anytime something moves the car, like someone coming inside.

You would splice the +12v wire to a constant +12v source. I would probably add a switch as well
