My battery is about two years old and has started to fail on me needing to be jump started.

I have had two battery tests done to it. The first one showing I need to replace it but the second one showing 'good recharge'

The alternator is working fine showing over 14.4v when on.


Any one know what could be causing the battery to lose charge?


First test results;

Volts 12.08

Measured 84EN

Rated 760 EN


The second test was done the next day

Volts 12.52

Measured 562 EN

Rated 760EN

The car was on for about 2 hours then left over night before second test.

Unfortunately 2 years is not uncommon for non-oe batteries nowadays
